The American Cinematheque's Mario Bava Festival Poems of Love and Death continues this weekend with LISA AND THE DEVIL and BARON BLOOD tonight and KIDNAPPED and SHOCK tomorrow. LISA AND THE DEVIL is one of Bava's best - a weird, arthouse-type horror film starring Elke Somer and Telly Savalas. KIDNAPPED is a film that Bava never completed during his lifetime but which was resurrected and stitched together a few years ago; it's actually supposed to be pretty good.
