George Romero's latest journey to the land of the Living Dead begins a one-week run tonight, including a Friday midnight screening.

Romero himself will appear in person on Friday and Sunday - February 15 and 17 - at the 7:30 and 10:00pm screenings. He's a likable, articulate fellow who enjoys interacting with his fans. Judging from his appearance at the Egyptian Theatre on Wednesday (read it here), the question-and-answer sessions should be lively and fun.

DIARY OF THE DEAD's engagement at the Nuart Theatre runs from February 15 through 21.
