Last minute Halloween events

  • Posted by: Steve Biodrowski

We try to keep you abreast of anything and everything happening in Los Angeles that is related to Halloween. Here are a couple more events that flew onto our radar at the last minute:

  • Lucha VaVoom promises "Mexican Masked Wreslting & Saucy Striptease" for Halloween. THE MAYAN THEATRE - 1038 South Hill Street in downtown Los Angeles. October 30 & 31 and November 1. (The Mayan Theatre itself is worth the trip.)
  • The Talking Board Show is an exhibit featuring 30 different artists' interpretation of the Ouja Board. Presented by Chet Zar (whose artwork is part of the current October Shadows exhibition at Cinovation Studios), the event also includes live musical performance by The Ghastly Ones, and a series by artist Isabel Samaras called "Monster Ballads," which depicts classic Universal Monsters in the style of paintins of the saints. COPRA NASON GALLERY - 2525 Michigan Avenue, Santa Monica. 8:00pm to Midnight, through October 31.
