Along with about forty other people, I was lucky enough to attend a sneak preview of SWEENEY TODD - the new Tim Burton film, based on the Stephen Sondheim musical. Johnny Depp is great as the "Demon Barber of Fleet Street," and the film is wonderful (although not all the songs are so great).
