Long Island Village may repeal Halloween curfew

  • Posted by: Steve Biodrowski

Newsday.Com tells us that the Nassau County chapter of the New York Civili LIberties Union is trying to get the trustees of a Long Island village to overturn a Halloween curfew for people under 19. The objection to the curfew rests on the fact that it restricts the movements of 18-year-olds, who are legally adults. A meeting will take place on October 22 to settle the issue, which dates back twenty years.

Here at Hollywood Gothique, we would like to thank the Civil Liberties Union and say, "Make Halloween free for everyone!"
