The Orange County Register has posted an article about Knott's Scary Farm's annual Halloween Haunt, which opens tomorrow. Reporter Ellyn Pak interviewed some of the scare-actors, who obviously love their work:
“It's fun chasing after people, making them laugh, making them cry,” said Todd McCallister, 35, of Stanton, who will roam as a street monster.
Most monsters prefer to yell, cackle and beat the walls of the mazes. Some walk up to guests and hiss in their ears. Others move swiftly from wall to wall like ghosts.
Ask college student Alex Manassero of Fullerton, who's been a monster for four years. All he has to do is swing a chain saw around and spectators run away in a flash.
“You don't need to do anything,” said the 21-year-old.
