Aspiring Goth rockers, here's an opportunity for you to perform live in front of an enthusiastic audience..

  • The American Cinematheque is providing an opportunity for Horror or Science Fiction Themed Acts to Perform at the GATHERING OF THE GHOULS on Saturday, August 18th from 7 - 9 PM.

GATHERING OF THE GHOULS, Spirits, Monsters, Aliens, Werewolves, Vampires, Zombies, Witches, Warlocks one and all, join us to howl at the moon, rattle The Mummy's Tomb, eat, drink and be gloomy in the Egyptian Theatre Courtyard to celebrate all things sinister, undead and supernatural. Join us for our Ghoulish Gathering, a meeting of the macabre with horrific music, food and drink. Come as the monster you are. No imbibing of human flesh or spirits permitted.
Details and Special Ticket Prices will be available on our web.

We prefer novelty or theme bands, but will consider costumed bands with a horror or sci fi attitude!

To be considered, please send us links to your myspace page, mp3, website...etc. so we can hear your music.

No pay, but in exchange for playing the GATHERING OF THE GHOULS, the band members will be given a month-long series pass (valued at $275) for two to attend any and all films in the Fantasy, Horror and Science Fiction Festival, August 2 - 26 at the Egyptian Theatre.

A great opportunity for exposure - links from our website and myspace, a mention in our press release about the party, and mention in our email list that goes out to 24,000 subscribers.

We prefer local bands from the Los Angeles/Orange County area. We don't compensate for travel.
Must be available for set up on Saturday, August 18 @ 4:00 PM
Must have own gear and PA system
