When there's no more room in hell, the dead will walk...the stage?
Yes, as bizarre as it sounds, George A. Romero's classic horror film NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD has inspired a stage play that will premier in Hollywood on Saturday, October 28 (as if the Halloween season here were not already overcrowded enough!).
The play's running time is 75 minutes. Audiences are warned to expect blood, gun shots, strobe light, and smoke. (Sounds like fun!)
The first preview performance was held today canceled to give the cast more time to rehearse. There is a second one Sunday afternoon at 2:00pm. The price for these tickets is only $10.
The show will run Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8:00 each night, and Sundays at 2:00 in the afternoon, until December 3.
Tickets are $20 at the door, $15 in advance or with a discount flier, $12 for students and seniors (including a free beer).
There is ample parking at Hollywood and Highland complex, for only $2 (with validation). The theatre is only a block or so east of there, on the North side of Hollywood Blvd.
