If you're not reborn in the Force, you may be sick and tired of the multiple home video releases of the original STAR WARS trilogy.
Nevertheless, if you're a fan of those three films as they were seen in theatres (before the digital alterations in 1997, which were followed by further alterations for DVD release), you may be interested to know that STAR WARS IV: A NEW HOPE, STAR WARS V: THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK, and STAR WARS VI: RETURN OF THE JEDI are coming out on Tuesday in DVD packages that present the original theatrical versions, sanwiched together with the revised versions.
Personally, I don't ever need to suffer through JEDI again, and I already have the first STAR WARS film on a good laserdisc, in widescreen with stereo sound, so I don't need a DVD of that either. But it would be nice to have the original EMPIRE STRIKES BACK in widescreen.
